When I want a set of icons for ODP or Nexus to match a particular desktop, I usually extract them from an IP. I’ve no idea if this is the best way to go about it, but here’s what I do:
1-- Open ID. Four options will appear. I select “open icon”
2-- Then I select file\open and navigate in windows explorer to the target IP and click on it.
3—The target IP’s ' icons will now appear in the LH pane of ID. Clicking on an individual icon then shows it in different bit sizes in a second pane in ID.
4-- I select a high bit size icon in the second column and click on it. That icon then appears in the main pane of ID.
5-- Then I click on "export", select PNG as the format and name the icon something, eg icon11.
6-- Select a windows explorer folder and save it (icon11) to that target folder.
7-- Repeat for all the icons I want from that package.
When I close ID, it will ask whether I want to save the project. I click on "no".
All the icons extracted this way from the IP will now appear in the pre-selected windows explorer folder as PNGs.
Thats it! Happy holidays everyone!
